This town wasn’t on my bucket list but it was on my boyfriend’s since long time. Siena located just an hour driving from Florence. The atmosphere in this city is just so mythical and beautiful. In the picture you can see the heart of Siena ; Piazza del Campo with Torre del Mangia that was built in 13th century. In this Piazza, there’s an event called Il Palio, a horse race that added from 16th century. This town is just so rich with history and arts ✨ Well, I suggest you to rent a car from Florence and drive all the way here to spend a night. It’s a very nice road trip if you want to explore Tuscany. Especially in the spring cause it wasn’t too hot. The weather was so perfect. If you get a hotel here, you can explore Siena by the evening and drink spritz in Sao Paolo Pub while enjoying this amazing sight. In the morning, you can explore Siena before the tourists come around 9-10am. You can also go up to some towers here so you can enjoy the town from up high with a different perspective (i didn’t go cause me and @capra311 are very lazy traveler. We don’t do long stairs lol). This city is very popular among Europeans. Note : You can’t park your car inside Siena but there are some parking area just outside the gate of this city. So you need to bring just little stuffs and walk to your hotel. If you get caught driving your car here the police will fine you cause it’s only for locals who can drive and park their cars inside. Hope this info will be helpful someday. I think Tuscany is best to explore for minimum a week! There are so many beautiful places around center of Tuscany.」9月9日 19時00分
