Edit: I stand corrected. My first visit to the office the staff told me this was first. The 67 Tina Turner was indeed first, but to be technical the first year of Rolling Stone was more like a newsletter/newspaper so the “cover concept” we know now didn’t kick in til the 70s correct?

MOREedit: Labelle was first black female group on cover of RS, Tina Turner is 1st black female, Rose & Cynthia of Sly & The Family Stone are were the 2nd.
