Muhammad Ali was not just one of the greatest American athletes, but a symbol to everyone that there is no price tag on freedom. The first time I met him was at Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn—he hugged me and wouldn’t let go. As time went on, his heart grew to embrace all people, regardless of race.
