This year, Allbirds is doing Black Friday and Cyber Monday differently. Because if we all approach the holiday season more consciously, we can all tread a little lighter on the planet. Instead of cutting prices for Black Friday, they're raising them by $1 for every product. All those extra dollars will be donated to Fridays For Future, an organization that shares Allbirds's goal of overcoming the climate crisis, started when 15-year-old Greta Thunberg began a school strike for climate and sparked a global movement inspiring millions of people to take action. Allbirds will match it with a donation of their own, too. Because now, more than ever, we need to be thinking about the impact of what we buy.
