This is Cassie’s story:
Cassie found Centrepoint at age 17 following a family breakdown and a period of sofa surfing which she describes as one of the darkest periods of her life so far.

Centrepoint have supported Cassie in improving her mental health by providing her with a psychotherapist. They have also helped Cassie move on with her studies and find secure housing. Cassie is now in her own flat and has started university.

“I’ve had support I didn’t even know that I needed,” Cassie says. “To know that there are actually people that see a future in me has made a huge difference to me. I’ve got my own flat and I’m at uni and I’ve got a job. It’s not been easy and I can’t say that I haven’t struggled, but I feel like I’ve achieved and pushed myself more than I ever thought I could.”
