Track and field was my first love. My sport has allowed me to meet some of my closest friends, people I’ve idolised, my mentors, and has given me the opportunity to travel to so many epic destinations around the world. Standing in your lane in a stadium filled with 50,000 people is a feeling that I’m grateful to have experienced and something that will never leave my heart. I’m so proud to have represented Australia on the world stage so many times and to have achieved that childhood dream of becoming an Olympian. Your dreams can come true if you chase them. I promise you, and I promise to take this lesson on as I chase new dreams. Thank you to my family, friends, my two incredible coaches, agents, sponsors, physical therapists, training partners, baristas, and supporters.
