My work, in these spaces, seeks to highlight the interconnectedness of racism, unbalanced power dynamics, colonialism, and our climate crisis, whilst working to center the knowledge and experiences of Indigenous* and marginalised communities. The brand new ClimateInColour Online Education Hub seeks to provide a safe learning space, away from social media, for our community to engage more intentionally and with more nuance in a range of topics, presented by me as well as a wide range of scientists, experts, and activists. During the year, we will be releasing a range of short, medium, and long courses to provide accessible ways to dive into topics like Colonialism, Environmental Racism, Environmental Justice, Food Security, Water Scarcity, and lots more! The first course, The Colonial History Of Climate, is now live [link in bio to enroll]! This course is for the curious, conscious, and climate justice committed and gives insight into the foundations of our current climate crisis and the source of embedded and systemic environmental racism and green colonialism in climate action, solutions, and conversations that persist today. The climate crisis is a 360 issue, one in which all of our actions past, present, and future, are interlinked with the well-being of others. For too long, climate conversations have been dominated by the Global Minority with the voices of the Global Majority, who make up nearly 80% of our population, and marginalised communities, both of whom are disproportionately impacted by the climate crisis communities, being largely silenced or ignored.    Here are a few amazing voices in the climate/environment space that inspire me (make sure to engage with their work outside of Instagram too): @multiculturalsustainable @_suzannedhaliwal @climatekarma @misstej @globalmajorityvs @simmoneahiaku @freedomfransorants  @awesidefarm @blackgirlenvironmentalist  @landinournames ❤️」1月20日 23時26分 - jackharries
