In 2014 I partnered with @saveourseasfoundation and created the Marine Conservation Photography Grant, a unique opportunity for emerging photographers passionate about protecting the world’s oceans and coastlines.

After a long hiatus of almost five years I am very excited to announce the 2021/2022 @saveourseasfoundation Ocean Storytelling Photography Grant.

Our four winners will not only be dispatched on a fully paid (day rate and expenses) 3 week photographic assignment to document a critical marine conservation project, but will also receive a year of mentorship from me @Thomas Peschak and National Geographic photo editors @kfmoran and @pritheeva . In addition each winner receives a cash prize of US$ 2000 and will get the opportunity to share their photographic story at an international marine conservation or photography event.
