Oct 2019. Two years ago I made it through my final round of chemo; this is a snippet of the video sent to my closest girl friends.

I didn’t know at the time that I would soon be “DONE done” (only 8 more months of treatment.) And I certainly couldn’t anticipate the terror, uncertainty and heartbreak that would follow in the weeks and months ahead. But that is a story for another time.

Life can present a lot of hard edges and free falls, I’ve certainly graced a few.

But I’m still here.

And whenever the ground falters below, I just return to that. I still get to be here.
