This book was the first inkling I had to become a journalist. I wasn't even sure what it meant only that I would be like her. I would learn how to talk to people. I would learn how to ask good questions. I learned that everyone wants to tell their story, no matter the joys or hardships. I admired Barbara Walters for as long as I can remember. My first day as an intern at 20/20 is legit still one of the best days of my life. I am forever grateful to Barbara and all the newswomen who came after her and showed me and thousands of other young girls that we too could succeed in the male dominated world of network news.
