Happy Birthday to Willem de Kooning born today in 1904! 🎂

In his famous "Women" series, De Kooning integrated the human form with aggressive paint application, bold colors, and sweeping Abstract Expressionist strokes. "Composition," shown here, serves as a bridge between the "Women" and de Kooning’s next series of work.
