森下陸幕長は、５月２０日（土）、ハワイで日米シニア・リーダーズ・セミナーを実施しました。この会議は、フリン米太平洋陸軍司令官及びジャーニー米太平洋海兵隊司令官と日米陸軍種の協力等を協議するものです。今回の会議では、昨年の日米双方の戦略文書改訂を踏まえ、同志国との連携強化などを通じて、日米防衛協力を更に深めていくことで合意しました。

On May 20 SAT in Hawaii, GEN Morishita, Chief of Staff JGSDF held the JPN-US Senior Leaders Seminar. This seminar aims to primarily discuss cooperation of JPN-US ground forces with GEN Flynn, CG USARPAC and LtGen Jurney, Cdr MARFORPAC. During the seminar, based on both JPN and US strategic documents reformulated last year, they agreed to further strengthen JPN-US defense cooperation through such efforts as strengthening collaboration with like-minded countries.
