When a young, worldly couple moved into a classic Haussmannian building near Paris’s Champs-Élysées, they were faced with a choice: stay true to its 19th-century character or throw caution to the wind. One glance at this color-saturated living room and it’s evident which route this couple chose. They tapped French studio Uchronia (@uchronia_world) to realize their vision, that everything would reference jewels and stones. “We imagined walking into our jewel box, each gem blown up to an architectural scale,” the wife says. “That is exactly what we got.”
