ベーグルで朝ごはん。

I didn't learn about bagels until I was in my 20s; I think they were virtually unknown in Japan until the 1980s. The fact that bagels were made without dairy products or eggs, that they were baked after boiling, and that they had been popularized by Eastern European Jews, were all new to me at the time. I don't really like bagels (I prefer breads with dairy products and eggs), but I eat bagels like this whenever I have the chance. I would like to eat them with smoked salmon and cream cheese like a New Yorker, but unfortunately, I don't have smoked salmon on hand. I grilled red onions, grilled corned beef, made a cheese omelette, chopped tomatoes......I made some ingredients with what I had in the fridge and ate it. The white sauce is a new onion dressing.
