The moment has come to which, sooner or later, every professional athlete encounters - the retirement from competitive sport. It is a stop to take a break from very intense daily exercises, which may otherwise lead to some undesirable consequences. It's no secret that suspending their career is a very hard step for every athlete, which is often accompanied by a negative emotional state. But honestly, having thought through and weighed all the pros and cons, I came to the conclusion that the moment of realization of this decision has come. I assure you, these are not the words of an athlete squeezed out like a lemon - these are the words of a person who has enough powder in his powder flasks, because there is still a lot to do. And I'm sure that "Everything will be fine"! I am grateful to the fate that throughout my sports career I have been surrounded by such wonderful people, thanks to whom I was lucky enough to attend two Olympic Games, six World and European Championships, numerous international tournaments, visiting several dozen countries in different parts of the world. Thanks to my coaches - Eteri Georgievna Tutberidze, Sergey Viktorovich Dudakov, Daniil Markovich Gleikhengauz for their joint long-term cooperation. Special thanks to the the Georgian Figure Skating Federation and its president, Ms. Mariam Giorgobiani, for the tremendous efforts, thanks to whom, the country won many historical medals at the most prestigious competitions. Also, thanks to the National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Sports of Georgia for supporting our team and each athlete individually. I cannot overestimate the merit of our respected journalists, who very carefully and diligently covered the nuances of our sports activities for a large audience of the most beautiful sport - figure skating.
