It's such a fun show to be a part of and everyone's so nice! 🙏 It was worth the 4:30am start this morning! Usually I'd go up the night before but I wanted to be able to see my boy. I didn't get home until 7pm tonight so we played for ages in the garden and then he covered Ada and I in stickers - see last slide! 😂❤️ Wore one of my favourite dresses but I forgot about the fact I can't feed in it, so when I ran upstairs in the little part I wasn't on I had to lift my whole dress up to feed. Worth it for the dress though! It's from Jaegar! We talked about the news topics today but one thing I wish I'd had more time to discuss was tax..the government are talking about lowering tax to get people back into work. It's so frustrating when we know 32,000 women last year left the work force. Not because they don't want to work, not because they have to pay tax but because childcare is so Expensive it makes no financial sense for them to work. For context, we now have one of the world's most expensive childcare - with childcare providers not being paid enough! Other countries have seen the economic value in investing in Childcare. Like Canada! It's a no brainer for the economy. And our tax should go to healthcare, to childcare, to transport, to emergency services - to just about everything that makes a country great. All things which would cost a lot more than a bit more tax. (Like private healthcare or childcare). Anyway, I absolutely LOVE being on the show and I have seen some really kind and supportive messages so thank you! I really do appreciate it. One lady even said she was going to write to the show whilst she was on mat leave to recommend me. 🥹❤️ Also, shout-out to Debbie who was Ada's childminder today in the green room. She was SO lovely with her. THANK YOU 🙏 Now get me to bed - Essex to London to Leeds and back with my little sidekick is no small feat! (Is that a phrase or have I just made that up?
