Headlining this issue is the Hollywood superstar Vanessa Hudgens, whose journey to stardom started in 2006 when she had her big break playing the lead character, Gabriela Montez, in the hit TV film series “High School Musical”. Her meteoric rise to fame was unstoppable, continuing over the years with more top-rated projects such as Netflix’s rom-com trilogy, “The Princess Switch” and the 2021 American biographical musical film “Tick, Tick... Boom!”, and most recently, the provocative supernatural documentary, “Dead Hot: Season of the Witch”. Her phenomenal success in the international entertainment scene has brought so much pride and joy to many Filipinos worldwide. This year, @vanessahudgens took on one of her most significant roles as the Philippines’ global tourism ambassador. In that capacity, she is set to promote the country’s rich culture and beautiful destinations to the world using her voice and platform. She will also star in a yet-to-be-named travel documentary shot in the Philippines by the prolific filmmaker and Presidential Adviser for Creative Communications Secretary Paul Soriano paulsoriano1017. Together with her mother, Gina Guanco Hudgens, and her sister, Stella, Tatler tagged along Vanessa as she explored and experienced the idyllic island paradise of El Nido during her homecoming.
