In the US, youth in foster care are nearly twice as likely as war veterans to suffer from PTSD. So what can we do to help? According to foster care transformation advocate (and @TED Talks’s @TheAudaciousProject grantee) @sixtocancel, kinship care — placing a child with extended family or a familiar adult — could hold the key to transforming the child welfare system in the US.
