We did the “Left Hook” variation to All Hooked Up (15 pitch 5.13-) in very cold conditions (but at least that meant that there were no mosquitoes!). Surprisingly, the 15mi hike into base camp and the days working on the wall all felt like a very pleasant change from biking - I suppose it’s all about what you’re used to. Overall, I was very impressed by the Winds. My friends have been telling me for years that Mt Hooker is an inspiring, 2000ft wall but I hadn’t quite believed them. Now I do.
