That’s sort of related too right 💝 I find myself having very complex feelings towards feminine, and with that perpetually sexualized, aesthetics. It feels like one is only allowed to explore the subject if labeling it as “empowering” when the truth is that it isn’t solely good. This is probably not endemic to femininity but is due to the current state of culture and art today, as if it is only valuable if it has a very measurable quantity of utility, politically or monetary. I want art to be allowed to deal with darker sides of humans, explore things that aren't straight forward and explicitly good.
