芹沢銈介美術工芸館に行って来た。そこにある東京・蒲田から移築された自邸はコンパクトでチャーミング。（元々は宮城から移築したものだそう）。民藝のコレクションも少しだけ見れます。
そして写真NGの芹沢銈介美術館本館（石水館）は、思ったより膨大なコレクションで大満足。建築がこってりしてると思ったらなんと！哲人建築家 “ 白井晟一 ” でした。

＊ 芹沢 銈介／重要無形文化財「型絵染」の保持者（人間国宝) で、20世紀日本の代表的な染色工芸家。
民藝運動を提唱した柳宗悦らと共に、日本各地を訪ねて民芸品や民具を調査した事でも有名。

I visited the Serizawa Keisuke Art Museum. His own residence there, which was moved from Kamata, Tokyo, is compact and charming. (It was originally moved from Miyagi, Japan.) You can also see a small collection of folk art.
The main building of the Museum, which I was not allowed to take pictures of, had a vast collection that I was more satisfied with than I expected. I thought the architecture was very rich, but to my surprise, it was by the philosopher architect "Seiichii Shirai "! @ Suruga Ward, Shizuoka City

Serizawa Keisuke is the holder of the important intangible cultural asset "kata-e dye" (living national treasure) and a representative Japanese dye craftsman of the 20th century.
He is also famous for his visits to various parts of Japan to investigate folk crafts and tools together with Yanagi Muneyoshi, who advocated the Mingei (Folk Art) movement.
