This community, my neighborhood, and neighboring neighborhoods sharing such positivity is so special. ❤️ 🙏🏻 Honestly, as much as I’m excited, I’m nervous too. It’s a bag of mixed emotions and with anything we’re passionate about…there’s hurdles, and stumbling blocks we encounter. All of it…a part of this journey and one day I look forward to looking back and saying to myself…”omg what a ride this has been and look…here I am turning in my book content to my editor” ☺️ As I’m building this book, I’ve taken a walk through memory lane of my old work. it’s been fun to stumble upon old art I’ve drawn that I forgot I drew. Some is so old that I’m almost embarrassed to see as my skills then was … hmm 🤔…yikes or more like eek 😬 Re-sharing some old art on IG has been really fun and I appreciate the positive feedback you’ve expressed. I realized something…I noticed that when I re-shared an old art video, the feeling is a bit different for me. The first time I posted, it was new, new art I just finished, and I’m eager to share. The second time, becomes more meaningful because somehow when I stumbled upon the art…it pulled me in, enough to share once again. It’s no longer new, but has more in-depth feeling. Hope that makes sense 😉 I will keep you posted along the way and for now my late nights illustrating for my book has been a place of comfort for me. I really get lost and immersed in my art. I have no distractions for work projects or daily life to dos at wee hour. My attention is simply dedicated to each illustration for my book. 😊 .
