On January 1rst of this year my daughter and I crafted up some dream collages for fun (anything to fill the long days of endless holiday breaks amiright? 😂). Welp, I don’t know if was a full moon or what but I quite literally dreamed up my dream house. I walked right into the same tile print I’d pasted on my poster. I knew that buying an almost 100 year old house would be an adventure. I also knew I wanted to live somewhere that already had memories built into it’s walls. While it’s definitely kept me on my toes, we’re finally finding our rhythm. There’s been tears, a lot of sweat (thank goodness the air conditioning works again), and blood boiling infuriating surprises… but the floor dinners, dance parties, and laughter balance that all out.
