When selecting a color palette for this California residence, designer Jamie Bush (@jamiebushco) went back to the basics. “The couple are educated aesthetes, with an extensive art collection,” he says. “When we talked about infusing color into the house, we looked at the early modernism of the Bauhaus. That led us to primary colors.” The resulting interiors practically radiate with saturated colors. But the lower-level media room takes on a decidedly calmer vibe, with its dark walls and @B&B Italia sectional. The cocktail table is by Gae Aulenti and the armchair by Gaetano Pesce. The rug is by Armadillo, and the curtains are of a Fabricut fabric. The photographs are by Ron Church.
