Have you ever seen Pallas’s long-tongued bat (Glossophaga soricina)? Weighing up to 0.3 oz (9 g), this critter uses its extra long tongue to snack on pollen, nectar, fruit, and the occasional insect. It inhabits a wide range that includes northern Mexico, Argentina, and the Bahamas, where it might be spotted in groups of up to 1,000 individuals!
