As part of the group exhibition Close Enough, Nanna Heitmann presents an accordion configuration of 40 photographs with accompanying captions titled War is Peace – referring to George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984 – made in Russia and Eastern Ukraine starting in January 2021.
Close Enough is showing at @hangar.photoartcenter in Brussels, Belgium, until December 16.
