From feeling broken in the depths of my soul to feeling grateful for the capacity of which my heart was able to love/feel, to rebuilding myself over the past 3 years. Loss & grief are strange beasts, and healing is a long journey. Losing my dad, I didn’t realize how big of an impact his quiet support and confidence had on me. So this was my song to myself to remember I’m NOT BROKEN. Even though he’s gone it doesn’t negate his love. Even though he’s not here, it doesn’t discount the lifetime of support.
