ピエール・エルメ25周年アニバーサリーパーティーに伺いました。
ワンダーウォールは、2005年と2016年に青山店のインテリアデザインを担当させて頂いた事をはじめ、丸の内店や香港店など様々なショップデザインでもお世話になりました。
エルメさんと最初の打ち合わせの時に、「ガチャガチャでマカロンを売りたい」とか「コンビニエンスストアのレジ横の大福餅のような在り方を取り入れたい 」などなどのユニークなアイデアを笑顔で言われたのを今でもよ〜く覚えています。
エルメさんは、奇想天外とも思える素材の組み合わせを、信じられないくらい完成度の高い味に仕上げる天才です。これからの25年に期待してます！

We visited Pierre Hermé's 25th anniversary party.
Wonderwall designed their Aoyama store in 2005 and 2016, as well as various other store designs including the Marunouchi store and the Hong Kong store.
I still remember the first meeting with Mr. Hermé, when he said with a smile, "I want to sell macarons with gacha-gacha," or "I want to introduce a way of being like Daifukumochi next to the cash register at convenience stores.”
Mr. Hermé is a genius who combines ingredients that seem out of the ordinary into a flavor with an unbelievably high degree of perfection. I have high expectations for the next 25 years!
Happy 25th anniversary to Mr. Hermé, Mr. Ledu, and everyone involved!
