It was pretty amazing seeing so many of the climbers overcome fears and get really high off the ground for the first time. Mike Lee, in particular, only started climbing in May when he wandered by the gym and this weekend he attempted to top rope his first 5.11 and then climbed and rappelled a multi pitch. Big weekend for him! And his first visit to the Strip (which honestly I was maybe even more impressed by: after climbing in the canyons until almost midnight the whole Rox crew still rallied downtown to see the sights! So much energy!) My old friend @brettlowell was filming for an upcoming TV show documenting their climbing journey. Similar to the Black Ice film in @reelrock a few years ago. All in all it was an energizing weekend - a good reminder of all the things I love about climbing.」10月13日 3時55分
