宇賀那健一さんのインスタグラム写真 - (宇賀那健一Instagram)「After the world premiere of "THE GIRLS" at the Festival Du Nouveau Cinema De Montreal and the Canadian premiere of "VISITORS -COMPLETE EDITION", I have returned to Japan. Following the "EXTRANEOUS MATTER-COMPLETE EDITION" the year before last and "MADE IN UGANA: THE VERY SPECIAL SÉANCE" last year, this year we will be presenting two films at such a great festival. I can't believe how many times I think about it. I love all the festivals that have screened my films, but the Festival Du Nouveau Cinema De Montreal is the most special festival in the world for me, as it found me when I had not yet been selected in many festivals and has been watching over me. It is the festival where I send my films before any other, and at the same time, it is the festival where I am the most nervous to send my film. That's why I was embarrassed to admit that I cried a little while eating lunch when I heard the news that the last of the four screenings this year was full. I really love Montreal for its beautiful scenery, delicious food and kind people. I always participate in the festival thinking that this year will probably be the last time I will be allowed to participate in this festival, but at the same time, when I am making a film, I am thinking that I have to make an interesting film so that I can go back to Montreal again. Thank you to everyone who came across me and my film at this year's festival. I hope to see you all in my beloved Montreal again someday. I will continue to do my best. モントリオール・ヌーヴォー・シネマ映画祭での『愚鈍の微笑み』のワールドプレミア、そして『悪魔がはらわたでいけにえで私』のカナディアンプレミアを終えて帰国しました。一昨年の『異物-完全版-』、昨年の『宇賀那健一監督短編集：未知との交流』に続いて、今年は『愚鈍の微笑み』と『悪魔がはらわたでいけにえで私』の二作品の上映していただけたこと、何度考えてみても信じられないくらい本当に光栄なことです。僕の作品を上映した下さった映画祭は全て本当に大好きですが、この映画祭はその中でも特別な映画祭です。映画が完成したらどこよりも早く作品を送る映画祭であると同時に、送るのが一番緊張する映画祭でもあります。モントリオールの美しい景色や美味しいご飯や優しい人々が本当に大好きです。いつも、きっとこの映画祭に参加させてもらえるのは今年が最後だろうと思って映画祭に参加していますが、それと同時に映画を作っているときはまたモントリオールに行けるくらい面白い作品を作らなくてはと思って作品作りをしています。今年の映画祭で僕と僕の作品に出合ってくれた皆様、有難う御座いました。またいつか愛するモントリオールの皆さんに会えますように。これからも頑張ります。 #FNC2023 #愚鈍の微笑み #悪魔がはらわたでいけにえで私 #kenichiugana」10月16日 17時28分
