Socialization -- Kitten School (Q&A in the end)
Once the kittens are healthy, I try to socialize and handle them as often as possible. The goal is to expose them to different people, animals, noises, car rides, vet visits etc while they are still young. I harness train all my kittens (the ones with Border Kitty Rescue) in case the adopters want to take them out on a leash or use it to secure them to a seatbelt while driving. I want to take advantage of their early socialization window so that they will grow up to be more confident cats.
So many people noticed how long Pumpkin's tail is. So we measured their tails!
