I’ve always had a thing about sunsets. I mean who doesn’t love a sunset, right? 

But I remember lots of sunsets over the last few years and they always make me reflective for whatever reason. 

I remember sitting on a beach in Mexico with @charlottedecarle in 2018 as the sun was going down. We had a bottle of wine and we were listening to music that gave us all the feels. I remember just wishing for healthy love. I was happy living life as I was and wasn’t prepared to settle but I hoped there was something or someone out there for me. I’d worked really hard on myself, tried to raise my self esteem and worked on boundaries. 

I remember a sunset in Cyprus in 2020. It was mine and Tommy’s first proper holiday. There was still a rule that you had to wear masks walking around the hotel. I was 30 weeks pregnant and could barely walk because of PGP. We were in the sea as the sunset and I remember thinking: the next time I see a sunset like this I’ll know who my little boy is. 

Last year in 2022, another sunset and I was 30 weeks pregnant with my little girl. I was wearing a pink dress and Alf and I had seen sharks and manta rays as the sun went down. I remember wondering who our little girl was. How Alf would be. How I would be. Would I struggle again? 

And so right here, on this sunset on the Sandbanks as a little family of 4, I just found myself feeling so grateful. For us. My little family of adventurers. I’m excited for next year.🤸‍♀️💫 

It was one of the best sunsets, it’s a little beach strip right on the side of @kuramathiisland think people get married here, and it’s just paradise. 

there’s so much I could say about what’s going on in the world at the moment, but I don’t know how to say it without sounding a bit wanky. And I’m rarely lost for words. But tonight I just wished for peace and safety. And I’m sending everyone love. ❤️🫶
