At the Republican presidential debate Wednesday night, the stage was smaller, the attacks were familiar and the claims ranged from true to questionable as the rivals faced off for the last time this year.

Vivek Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur and author who regularly has esoteric facts and theories at the ready in an effort to vanquish his opponents on the debate stage, made a series of questionable claims as he sought to dent the armor of his rivals. While Ramaswamy rattled off right-wing conspiracy theories about the Jan. 6 riots and Sept. 11 attacks, the other candidates also raised eyebrows.
