This is the room I came to my freshman year to study late at night in. One night in the spring I went in with the intention to study but ended up calling my dad and bawled my eyes out. I was so overwhelmed by the number of life changing decisions I would have to make (finding my major for example). As always my dad gave me uplifting advice. He helped me realize I can do anything—whatever my heart desires because that’s what college is about. It’s about finding your passion and pushing yourself past the limits that you’ve set for yourself. Today being back in this room one year later reminds me to be grateful for struggles because they come but they also go. And when they go they leave us stronger than we were before. #tbt
