Because of my knee injury as and wrist problem, I wasn’t able to join IFSC bouldering World Cups for several years. 4 years later, I competed at my first bouldering World Cup of this season last weekend at Chongqing. My goal was to go to the semi-final, and I was happy to achieve my goal. I knew that the style of boulder problems has changed a lot since my last bouldering World Cup in 2013 (in addition to the fact that my style of climbing is more suitable for lead climbing than bouldering). However, I have always been motivated to learn new things, and this motivation brought me back to a bouldering competition. I am planning on competing at two more bouldering World Cups, Asian Championship, and National Championship (before the lead season).
