chilling in front of Georgia O’Keefe museum thinking on all the great female artists (some celebrated, many not as celebrated as they should be) who used observing nature closely as a starting point for creating work that explored laws of nature, the spiritual, the supernatural. Swipe for O’Keefe, Emma Kunz, Hilma Af Klint, Agnes Pelton. Af Klint was making her work at the turn of the century exploring abstraction years before Kandinsky and Mondrian. So there is actually a Mother of 21st century abstractionism before there was a father.

Added it as a stop on my drive from Boston to Los Angeles just so I could breathe in her magical essence, and made it just an hour before closing because of the time difference from Central to Mountain. Luck was on my side. Some might say angels too. Went in by myself, talked with the sweetest museum attendant about Georgia’s life and impact, and wept like a baby. I won’t pretend to know you, as I dont, but for the amount of you that you have shared with all of us, your genuine raw elements and enchanting soul, I can only imagine what an experience it was for you to be there. I hope to return one day and visit her ghost ranch to further illuminate the intimacy with the crossover of worlds, energy, and emotions she so elegantly portrayed throughout her life and career. 💛

I’m just back for a moment) but if I could, I would tell you that one of my greatest loves in life is great storytelling. We are created by stories. The human psyche is a tapestry of symbols woven together by meaning. Storytelling makes us human and shapes our world. I know I don’t need to tell you this. But what I wanted to say is that you are one of the Great Ones of our era. I’m so glad to have found you. I’m so glad you found your voice and your platform and that this world is arranging itself to let me hear your voice. I’m so grateful. barewen You are so brilliant!!!! ❤️? My hubby and I just finished watching season 2! We could not even wait to cuddle up on the couch and watch it as an evening ritual after our little boy goes to sleep! This season we watched all of it after we dropped our little boy of at Summer Camp! Haha 8 hours cuddled up on the couch! I am blue missing it and am hopeful and praying for season 3 to come soon! It is so beautifully written and so exquisitely shot; there is nothing like it and I can’t stop thinking about it for months after finishing each season or days after finishing an episode! planetplanchette HI Brit, I was thinking last night about the amazing book "Power vs Force" by David R Hawkins, and how, in the OA, Hap represents force, whilst OA represents true power-the power of love, of creativity, of awareness. Definitely worth checking out the book, I think you would like it. (PS---Thank you for being an inspiration to me to stay true to myself, to my voice, to my hearts desires, in this world driven by ego desires and by "success" defined in the wrong ways).
