ジェレミー・アボットさんのインスタグラム動画 - (ジェレミー・アボットInstagram)「I wanted to create this program to go hand in hand with “Land of All”. It is a continuation of the story. They play off the themes of light and dark. One is a dream while the other is a nightmare, but like dreaming there is no beginning and no end. Often times what we perceive to be a nightmare can easily become a dream with the inverse result being the same. Sonically these two pieces of music are very obvious as to which was which, but when you dig into the lyrics deeper they tell a different story. I wanted to play off of these contrasts and show that external appearances don’t always match internal meaning. Benoit and I co-choreographed this piece. I wanted to keep his style intact to work in synergy with Land of All. He actually sent me video of himself playing with the first half and from there I created the rest based off of what he created. When it was finished we Skyped to clean it all up and make it cohesive. I asked Brady to create a costume based off the black one we had done, but with high waisted pants instead of tights, and a tunic to creat a similar illusion to that of the black skirt. I also wanted very lightweight fabrics to contrast the wool we had used in black, and a satin to add a sheen that complimented the gold underside of the black skirt. The result was better than I could have ever dreamed! These two pieces stand strongly on their own, but I love how they create a complete image when put together!
