Streaming platforms didn’t exist when contracts were initially created for TV Musicians. All of our creative brethren (writers, actors, directors) have renegotiated and are paid for the exploitation of their work and revenue earned on these streaming platforms. However musicians are not currently paid anything.

Many of our fellow musicians depend on theses residuals to earn a living and to feed their families. AFM is asking the networks for a fair wage for musicians, healthcare benefits and parity in pay with other creatives. So It is incumbent upon us to use our collective voices to spread this message. #RespectUs #Musicians #FairPay @musicians_of_ny
