Living with two senior dogs, Coopie and Jazzy, was so peaceful and just pure joy, I longed to have something similar again. I applied for many dogs ranging from 8-12 years old, many of them with serious medical conditions. Some of you might remember, I was rejected to adopt those babies for variety of reasons--"You never had this breed", "you live three hours away", "You have to adopt before you can meet the dog" etc. (🤯) You know the rest of the story as I "foster-failed" with not just one, but two PUPPIES. There's no regret now. I know I'd end up loving any dog I committed to. I also believe that a couple of angel dogs were trying to do some match-making in heaven.
