I am so sad. A short poem written by me.

I am so sad
See, it’s 9:15,
Second breakfast?
Nowhere to be seen.

I am so sad.

First breakfast,
Wasn’t that good
Tasted bland,
Not what it should.

I am so sad.

The days are long,
Waiting for meals,
I sit here I cry,
They don’t hear the squeals.

I am so sad.

When will things change?
Do they even see me?
Just give me more food,
How hard can it be?

I am so sad.

I will waste away,
Til there’s nothing left,
Jokes I steal food all day,
I’ve resorted to theft.

I am so sad.

I wallow in pity,
Belly rumbles, I scower,
I’ll trick dad I’m not fed yet,
When Mum goes in the shower.

I am so sad.

My trick it worked,
Second breakfast, yipee!
I‘ll be sad again soon
I can’t change, it’s just me.
