How could we better deal with grief? When someone you know experiences a loss, it can be hard to know what to do or say. Author and podcast host Nora McInerny (@noraborealis) experienced this awkwardness firsthand after her father and her husband both passed away in a two-month period in 2014. So how can we provide real support to the people in our lives when they've suffered a loss? McInerny suggests we can remind them that one day they will laugh and smile again — they will not be grief-stricken forever. "Yes, absolutely, they're going to move forward," she says. "But that doesn't mean that they've moved on." Want to know more about how you can help others move forward with their grief? Visit the link in our bio to watch the full talk.
