Tickets are in my bio and all profits go to @hackneychinese ❤️ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 炒肉拉皮 Chao Rou La Pi inspired cold starch noodle salad, I had this dish a few years ago in 哈尔滨 Harbin, so peculiar to see a cold noodle salad on the menu, whilst outside it was delightful -30c but hey ho do as the locals do! I thought i’d make this as a end of summer dish, with minimal cooking. It involves a little bit of chopping, but one pack of 180g noodles is enough to feed four people. Feel free to add whatever veg you like, purple cabbage would be great for colour but my veg shop was out, and don’t get me started about trying to find coriander leaf in Italy, so I used parsley. Finally I had some seitan in the fridge but any protein (or none) also works. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Julienne vegetables of your choice, carrot, cucumber, radish, asparagus, purple cabbage, plus bean sprouts 180g pack of potato starch noodles 2-3 tablespoons Chinese sesame paste 3-4 tablespoons of light soy (or I used some leftover 复制酱油 from a previous recipe) 4-5 tablespoons of black vinegar Coriander leaf Chilli oil or crisp to serve I like to add some seed mix for crunch and texture also optional - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Prepare your veg, boil your noodles to packet instructions and when cooked add a teaspoon of sesame oil so they don’t all stick together. Prepare your sesame dressing, add the paste to a bowl with some boiling water, combine until you have a thin pourable sauce, flavour with soy and minced garlic Add your veg to a large serving dish in a pretty manner Add your noodles on top and garnish with coriander Serve with chilli oil or crisp to your taste」9月2日 19時31分
