今年の書初めに選んだ言葉は「助け合う」という意味を表す「互助」です。

未来は「自分以外の誰か」の幸せを願う仲間たちが、一緒に努力し、行動してつくるものだと思います。

自分の利益のために大きな声を出していても、そこには対立しか生まれません。
対立と分断は、誰も幸せにはしません。
意志ある情熱と行動で、まずやってみる。
共感してくれた仲間と、たくさん失敗しながら、少しずつ前に進んでいく。

「共感」という言葉は、「共に」「感謝する」と書きます。
「ありがとう」と言い合える関係から生まれる未来は、きっと今とは違う景色になってくる。
そんな信念を込めて、筆を執りました。

仲間と一緒に挑戦し、一緒に失敗し、一緒に改善をしていく。
みんなで努力して、そんなトヨタをつくっていきたいと思います。

The characters I chose for this year mean “cooperation,” or helping each other.

I believe the future is shaped by people who work together, driven by the desire to bring happiness to someone other than themselves.

If you go around touting your own interests, you create only conflict.
Conflict and division make no one happy.
Instead, begin by doing, acting with passion and purpose.
Together with like-minded partners, and through many mistakes, we gradually move forward.

To empathize is to appreciate each other.
With relationships founded in gratitude, the future will surely look different from today.
This belief was in my mind as I picked up the brush.

Take on challenges together, fail together, and improve together.
Through all of our efforts, I hope to create Toyota in this image.
