CORE CHALLENGE 👊🏼 When we think ‘core’ we usually think abs & obliques…but true core strength is so much more than bicycles & sit ups.

Our ‘core’ includes abs, obliques AND GLUTES…which work in unison to control & stabilise our body in a variety of movements.

These exercises help to activate all areas of your core by challenging rotational stability & isometric strength…

Try them in the workout below:

3 rounds

▪️1. UPWARD CHOP
(x10) each side
- control the weight by grounding down through the front foot & back knee & create power from the hips (rather than the arms)

▪️2. BRIDGE PIKES
(x10) each side
- aim to keep your hips lifted and your torso stable as you lower & l e n g t h e n from arms to toe.

▪️3. CLAM ROW
(x10) each side
- pull the shoulders down (away from the ears) as the hips lift. Keep your torso stable with movement only happening at the hips & top arm.

Keep your movements strong by ‘wrapping’ the muscles around your waist & drawing belly button to spine 👌🏼 #coreworkout #abworkout #abs
