We last met on the sidelines of the ASEAN-EU Commemorative Summit in Brussels in December. Singapore has a warm and growing friendship with the Czech Republic. This year marks 30 years of our diplomatic relations. We have strong cooperation at multilateral fora as like-minded states that value the principles of free trade, multilateralism, and a rules-based international order. PM Fiala and I discussed problems in Europe and Asia which concerned these issues, and ways to deepen ties between our countries.
