You really do forget how small and scrunchy they are - so I know I wanted to do the same with Ada. We're going to make a photo wall in our corridor. I had to drag both Alf and Tommy to the shoot 🤣 I had big plans to get a nice photo of the 4 of us, but Alf wasn't feeling it at all. Neither was Tommy, but I forced him to oblige, whereas I let Alf off the hook. We managed to get one with him at least. You do newborn photoshoots between 5 and 12 days so I think Alf still hadn't quite adjusted to being around Ada, so I didn't want to force it. I'll be honest, I felt so disgusting on the day of this shoot. My scar was sore, I was bleeding, my milk had just come in, and I couldn't find any clothes that fit me. I broke the zip on the dress I wanted to wear as it didn't fit, so then i put this one on. I didn't think it looked nice, but Tommy's mum was my cheerleader - now I think I look so nice. It's funny how your mind can be so self loathing when your body is sore and leaky. My absolute favourite thing about Ada is her little birth mark above her lip. I don't know if the mark will stay or fade over time but I'm just obsessed with it.
