The works in “Going Dark” are grounded in a duality: they present the figure, yet obscure it in some way, thus existing at the "edge of visibility." "Going Dark" features over 100 works of art by 28 artists, including David Hammons, Glenn Ligon, Kerry James Marshall, Farah Al Qasimi, Faith Ringgold, Doris Salcedo, Lorna Simpson, and Carrie Mae Weems.
