The newborn days and pregnancy already feel like they're slipping away. I want Ada to stop growing. For time to stay still. But I'm also really excited about the future - I keep saying to Tommy I can't wait for movie nights and playing rounders and date nights. But I will always treasure those newborn days, how time feels like it's stopped and nothing matters apart from you and the tiny little babies you just can't believe are real. I'll honestly never feel more beautiful than I did in my pregnancy. Through the pelvic girdle pain and the sickness and whatever else - i felt so beautiful in my body once my bump appeared. Time really does just go too quickly. So anyway, I wanted to share 3 of the things I look at every single day and am thankful I have. ✨ My Bump Statue. I used @milestonable. I wish I knew about them when I was pregnant with Alf because I'd love to compare my bumps (and boobs!). But I'm so happy I have it if my pregnancy with Ada. It's a nice reminder of what amazing things my body has done on bad body image days. Plus, I feel like I can give it to her one day, maybe if she ever decides to have a child of her own. She can see the body that grew her - the body would also have the eggs of her children in. 🥹 ✨ Photos of our newborn shoots. I haven't even printed Ada's shoot out yet, but I'm SO happy I convinced Tommy to do a newborn shoot both times. We used @tinyposers both times and it's amazing how quickly you forget those precious few days and how squishy and gorgeous they were. I remember feeling disgusting in both shoots (postpartum bleeding , swollen boobs, a *new* body etc) but I look at the pictures of me now and just think I look so ethereal - you can see the love all over my face. ✨Casts of their tiny hands and feet. 👣 I used @tinytreasurescastingsessex both times and I just love being able to see their teeny tiny hands and feet.
