It must be nice to have a body that isn't objectified. 🤪 But then I keep reading posts and articles about new mums feeling like they can't wear bikinis or want to cover up and it makes me feel like it's an important message to share. A friendly reminder. That you deserve to feel the sun on your skin. You deserve to wear a bikini. Or short shorts. Or a crop top. Or that nice lingerie set. You don't have to wait until you have the perfect body to wear clothes because guess what - the perfect body doesn't exist. I was a lingerie model and I look back now and wish I'd seen how amazing my body was. But I was so self conscious. I thought my body was awful. I never appreciated it, but I also saw my worth tied to it. I'm way happier now and I'm way more confident. My body isn't better - I've just learned it doesn't define my worth or my ability to be loved. And I've learned that beauty and confidence is not being the smallest version of yourself. And you just need to look around at other women in bikinis to see beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. But also, no one is judging them. So enjoy the sunshine and wear the bikini. 💙🔆」7月7日 22時31分
