Like my body actually did that 🤩💙 Anyway, this morning was one of my favourite mornings. Felt like a real family activity weekend. It was Ada's first swimming lesson - which was an hour before her brother's so I went with Ada and Tommy went with Alf and then we all went for breakfast .🥹💦 Taking Ada in the pool made me so reminiscent about all the memories from when I first took Alf swimming when he was her age (swipe along). It was the first thing I ever did with him after a long lockdown and it was when we weren't even allowed to use the showers in the changing rooms because of lockdown. You can see them all taped up! Anyway, it was such a huge thing taking Alf as it had been such a long lockdown and nearly all other things were still closed. It was our first time doing anything! Very nostalgic. I also remember with Alf being so mindful of everything I needed to buy and pack for him that I forgot about myself and didn't really have any appropriate swimwear. None of my bikinis fit me properly and I remember feeling horrid as a result. It's funny to see how far I've come, or how much easier it is to remember these things second time around. This time I don't forget about myself as much and I had this swimsuit and so many others from my Tu summer edit - it's 4 sizes up from my pre baby size and it fits perfectly. 🤩 I loved getting to watch Alf in the pool too. Over the last couple of months I've watched Alf become sooo confident going underwater and holding onto the side. I never really imagined how proud you can feel watching something you made achieve things you sort of take for granted. Best feeling ever. Definitely in my happy mum era. I remember reading that flamingos lose their pink when they become mums, and eventually it comes back. Well it's been a journey but I think I can say I've got my pink back. 🩷🦩 Weekends used to look very different pre kids. It's be all about the evenings! Now it's about the day time activities. I used to mourn the old chapter, but now I just see them as different and I can appreciate both. One day they'll change again 🥹❤️」7月8日 21時02分
